Shortlist Women's Prize for Fiction 2024

Juryvoorzitter Monica Ali:
‘This year’s shortlist features six brilliant, thought-provoking and spellbinding novels that between them capture an enormous breadth of the human experience. Readers will be captivated by the characters, the luminous writing and the exquisite storytelling. Each book is gloriously compelling and inventive and lingers in the heart and mind long after the final page.’

De Women's Prize for Fiction is een literatuurprijs die jaarlijks wordt uitgereikt aan een Engelstalige roman van een vrouwelijke auteur, ongeacht nationaliteit, die werd uitgebracht in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. De afgelopen jaren wonnen Barbara Kingsolver (2023), Ruth Ozeki (2022), Susanna Clarke (2021), Maggie O'Farrell (2020), Tayari Jones (2019), Kamila Shamsie (2018), Naomi Alderman (2017), Lisa McInerney (2016) en Ali Smith (2015).
