L.A. Times Book Prizes voor Valeria Luiselli, Chigozie Obioma en Riad Sattouf
11 april 2016Onder anderen Valeria Luiselli, Chigozie Obioma en Riad Sattouf worden bekroond met de Los Angeles Times Book Prizes. Dat werd dit weekend bekendgemaakt.
De Los Angeles Times Book Prizes eren 'the previous year's best books and their authors at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books'. Van de boeken van Luiselli, Obioma, Sattouf, Winslow en Wulf zijn er ook Nederlandse vertalingen (op komst). Interessant zijn de bekende auteurs die gepasseerd zijn voor deze winnaars: Valeria Luiselli won ten koste van Adam Johnson en Anne Enright, en Dan Ephron won terwijl Mary Beard ook genomineerd was.
